Physical Therapy for Michigan Climbers

One of my greatest passions in starting Fitkin Rehab was to fill the gap in physical therapy for climbers in Michigan. There have been a number of providers who have filled that gap over the course of time, but as of 2025, the space was empty. I was unable to find another provider providing rehab for climbers in Michigan even combing through Google search results, looking through directories like the Rock Rehab community, and searching through mutual connections.

I’ve seen firsthand the challenges of finding quality resources as an injured climber, having lived through a litany of injuries over the years, including shoulder impingement, a finger dislocation, multiple ankle sprains, an Achilles tendon rupture and repair, a quadriceps strain, an elbow sprain, finger capsulitis, and neck pain. I’ve watched friends search for providers and resources to help with finger injuries to no avail, just to be told to stop climbing. I’ve seen friends fall away from climbing at all due to injuries and pain.

This gap is filled now. I’m stepping forward as an authority on all things regarding physical therapy for climbers in Michigan, and I’m so, so excited to finally be in this space and giving back to my community.
Finger flexor pulley injuries, finger capsulitis, TFCC injuries, elbow tendinopathies, shoulder tendinopathies, shoulder dislocations, neck pain, low back pain, hip pain, knee ligament injuries (MCL, LCL, ACL, PCL), meniscus injuries, knee tendinopathies, ankle sprains, amongst many other diagnoses, all will find clarity here.

With both in-person and virtual options for evaluation and treatment, any climber in Michigan can find physical therapy services, rehab services, or training services nearly immediately now.
I’m so excited to be in this role, giving back to my community, following my passion. If you’re interested in help, I would love the chance to speak to you. Fill out the Contact Me form on my website and I’ll get back to you quickly.
